It has been a little while....

It has definitely been a while since I posted anything...sorry about that!!  We have been pretty busy!  School started for me and Brant just got back from California.  Devyn has been great!  She has been going to daycare for 3 days and then is with Natalie for 2 days a week.  The first day of daycare she LOVED it.  She didn't cry when I dropped her off and had a glowing report when I picked her up.  The second day wasn't as easy.  She was screaming the minute I put her in the car, the entire car ride to work, and then kicking and throwing a tantrum when I dropped her off.  We will see how day 3 goes.... My commute is extremely long but having Devyn has been helping.  She is normally in a great mood and plays hide and seek with me from the backseat.  She hasn't figured out that just because she can't see us doesn't mean we can't see her.

This might be my new favorite picture of Devyn.  Brant took the day off so I could go and set my room up and BEFORE I even made it to work this is the picture that he sent me.  He said she was having so much fun that he didn't want to make her stop....

Devyn has been in such a great mood lately!!  She has been so fun!!  Brant was gone this week for work so Devyn and I spent the week at my parents house!  Here are a few pictures from the week!!

Devyn is sooo different with my parents than she is with me.  She LOVES being at their place and having so much space.  Here she is in the car with my mom and dad.

This picture is with me...we were at the park and she wanted to climb this rock and she kept taking my hand and pulling me away from the rock and telling me to stay then going back and trying to climb the rock by herself.  She actually did it!!

I kept telling Devyn all week that we would get to see Jacob!  When my parents door opened she would run to it and say JACOB!!  It was never Jacob but we did see them at the park and this is what happened...I think she was pretty excited to see him!!

Summer is ending :-(

Things are pretty much going our way right now!!  I got a job!!!  Woo Hoo!!!!  Definitely didn't think that was going to happen but it did!  I am a 5th grade math teacher at Hawthorn.  So excited!  And a little nervous.  I am going to miss hanging out with my little monkey all day!  We went to the Children's Museum yesterday and had a blast.  Here are some pictures...

Then we went to the park.  It poured the night before so the sandbox was a total mess!  Devyn was jumping in the puddles and loving every second of it.

Brant and I went to the Kid Rock/Bon Jovi concert last night!  We had such an awesome time!!  Scott and Jenny came with us too!  Brant and I aren't moving so fast today... Thank you so much for watching D Baba and Papa!
