Broken Ankle!

Brant broke his ankle this weekend - so now we have a broken ankle. My weekend involved playing with Devyn and being Brant's servant. Here is Brant's foot :-(

I totally miss Devyn today - I think it is because I didn't see her yesterday because I had class last night. I took this picture over the weekend and I think it might be my new favorite! Look at those cheeks!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Devyn is in EVERYTHING!!! We definitely need to baby proof the house! She can't sit still which means I can't sit still... Here she is before bath time. Her favorite part of the night.



On Sunday I went to get her after nap time and I just started dying laughing! You can't really tell from this picture but her hair was everywhere! It was hysterical!!

Oh and we can crawl now.... before she had zero interest but now that she can climb the stairs she crawls to the stairs just to climb up them! Again she is all over the place.

Standing!?!

Natalie, our nanny, just sent me this picture!! It is Devyn standing completely by herself watching Beyonce's All My Single Ladies on tv.

I thought this was such a great picture until my friend at work told me my child should not be watching tv. Mind your own business please.....

Devyn and Jacob!!

I can't even tell you how much I love our nanny!! She is awesome!! She sends me pictures through out the day. This is what I got today. We are having another awesome day - it is 64 degrees and the kids got to go for a walk!

Oh and yesterday Devyn climbed up the stairs!

Devyn has 4 teeth now! 2 on top and 2 on the bottom... and she is definitely teething so we are watching out for more!

I try and take pictures of Devyn in the morning because that is when she is the happiest! But she sees the camera and she crawls right over to me so most of the pictures are very close!


She LOVES the water! She swims all across the tub!

Get ready for the bath! Her new thing is to walk over to where the camera is and put her face in the camera! It is hysterical to watch her on the monitor.

She had a little wipe out the other day. It's hard to see but she has a little red bump on her head :-( She was a trooper though!

HEAT WAVE!!!

Devyn had a pretty big weekend!! We went to a birthday party and to Nina's bridal shower! She ate pizza and birthday cake!! She loved them both...

It was 60 degrees on Saturday!!! Kara and I took Devyn for a little walk!! She was hysterical! She couldn't sit up far enough in her stroller... here are a few pictures!!

She was pulling herself up so she could see over the cupholders! When I started running she would laugh hysterically!

This is Devyn in the car on the way home from the birthday party! She fell right to sleep!

My little monkey!

I had to post this picture. You can't really see it because it is from my phone. And my new phone is from 1950... but Devyn has seriously turned into a monkey. She is walking and climbing on everything. This morning I was in the shower and she crawled over to the toilet (thank god I have trained Brant to leave the toilet seat down) climbed on the toilet and started flushing the toilet.

I have no idea how I am ever going to punish her because everything she does just makes me laugh.

And we are cruising!

I honestly can not believe how fast time has gone! Devyn is moving around so much now - soon I am not going to be able to keep up!! Getting dressed is now the biggest pain in the butt! The girl only wants to stand up and walk!! This is what my morning was like this morning. I would get one thing on turn to grab the next thing and she was off!

I put her in her crib so I could get her bath started... Pretty sure she knew what was coming next! She was hysterically laughing in her crib!

This is how Brant and I spend our nights! Devyn LOVES to be pushed in this toy car. We start in the kitchen and sprint to the family room she laughs the entire time!

Brant found this awesome smock thing! It is for feeding! She is the messiest baby ever! The other day I wanted to see if she could feed herself and instead of putting the spoon in her mouth she picked up the entire bowl of food and put that to her mouth. Kind of like a cup - it went all over!! we will not be doing that again!
