My little Monkey!!
Devyn is turning 1 this weekend!! I can not believe it!! And she is getting baptized... I know she is a little old for it but with all of the other things going on in our life it was a little difficult to find time! But we are doing it.
She has turned into a complete monkey! She climbs on absolutely everything! She climbs on all of her toys backwards, into laundry baskets, into cabinets. The girl is out of control! But so much fun.

Wedding Weekend!!
My best friend got married this weekend! It was an awesome wedding! And Nina looked absolutely gorgeous! Thank you to Linda for watching Devyn! We really appreciate it!!

I brought Devyn to the bridal lunch! Devyn LOVES other babies. She LOVES them. She could not keep her hands off of Charlotte! She was kissing her and putting her feet in her mouth. It was pretty cute. But I love this picture because you can see Nina in the background smiling at both babies!
Devyn being her normal troublemaker self! Of course standing on the ground isn't an option she has to climb and stand on the highchair.

Happy Easter!!
Happy Easter!! We celebrated Easter yesterday at my parents house! It was my dad's birthday too! Happy Birthday Papa :-)
My mom set up an Easter egg hunt outside for Drew and Devyn. Devyn had no idea what was going on! So basically I found all of her eggs for her! But she did get to eat some candy! She was a disaster by the time we went home and a little hyper on sugar!! But she did look adorable in her Easter outfit!
Here she is with Drew's Easter basket. He didn't like her playing with the basket because she kept chewing on the handle!!

Chasing my shadow!!!
I LOVE this picture!! Natalie sent me this yesterday and it made my day!! When they first went outside Devyn wasn't moving around but then she saw her shadow and started to chase it!!
Little did Natalie know that part of my assignment this week for my art class was to capture a photograph with a shadow! Pretty sure this works! Thanks for doing my homework Natalie :-)

Devyn 11 Months
I can't believe that Devyn is almost ONE!!! This year has gone by so fast! She is so much fun right now - she has such a personality it is hysterical!! Her new thing is to look at me right before she does something wrong and smile... even if I say no she still does it anyway!
I do handstands in front of her all the time. She laughs when she sees my face upside down! I think I better stop because the other night she was trying to mimic me. The problem is that she is so strong she could probably do it. She just might be the next Shawn Johnson.
She LOVES this car that my parents got for her. She will walk over to the car and sit in it. Well now she stands backwards! But here she is just lounging in her car.
She has a stuffed animal of Kinnick. I took the bandana off and put it on her head! She LOVED it! Here she is dancing and walking around. She LOVES to dance... she does this new foot stomp thing that is just hysterical! She has more moves than me which is pretty sad :-(
I had to put this picture up! Devyn wasn't gaining weight when we first brought her home. I think she stayed the same weight for a month or two and has always been in the 10th percentile. Pretty sure she isn't in the 10th percentile anymore. Look at her gut!!
We put a gate up so she can't climb the stairs anymore but the minute we take the gate down she is off!!
This might be her favorite spot in the house. She LOVES to look outside. It's funny because when I was on maternity leave and she was crying her eyes out I would stand by the front door and she would calm down. I am not sure what it is but she loves it!

Thank You Grandma and Baba!!
Brant took me to Mexico for my 30th birthday – Brant’s Mom (Grandma) and my mom (Baba) took care of Devyn!! Grandma had her for the entire week! Thank you so much to both! I feel awful for not giving you a shout out earlier in the week! We really appreciate you both helping us out! And Devyn LOVED having you both – she didn’t even care when we walked in!!
