A baby prison??

A few weeks ago Brant decided he wanted to get a play area for Devyn!! Right away I thought this is NOT going to work but I will let him try!! Our place is SO tiny but some how he did it!! And Devyn LOVES it!! The picture below is very dark but you will get the idea of what our family room looks like now....

TWO NEW COUSINS!!

There are lots of wonderful things going on these days!! Yesterday my sister delivered 2 healthy boys! They are as cute as can be! And they look totallydifferent! They had a great first night in the hospital and will hopefully be coming home soon!!

I would also like to mention little Finn! My friends Anne and Noah had a little boy in September; they were able to bring him home right before Christmas after more than 100 days in the NICU!! Yay!!! I don't have any pictures of little Finn but let me tell you he is adorable!

This next picture is of Brock. I think he was born first at 10:42am weighing in at 5lbs 7oz

This is Reid! He is soo dark compared to Brock!! But he was born at 10:43am and weighed 5lbs 2oz.

Devyn's First Christmas!!

She can sit up on her own now so we put out this next toy! She loved it for about a week and now we have to sit with her when she plays with it because she pulls herself up to standing! We are in trouble! This girl is going to start moving any second now!!

Merry Christmas everyone!! We are leaving tomorrow for Iowa City - I hope the weather holds up for our road trip! It's terrible out there right now!! But here is one more picture before we leave just to put everyone in the Christmas spirit!! Have a safe and happy holiday!

This is how I find Devyn in the morning!! She wakes up and talks to herself for a few mins then I go in and get her! She is always on her tummy waiting for me with with a big smile on her face! It is the BEST way to start the day!

CHUBBY!!!

Look at that gut!! Devyn is up to 3 solid meals a day and you can definitely see the difference! I have yet to find a food she doesn't like. Right now she is weighing in at 16lbs.

I don't know what we are going to do when we have to take these toys away! She LOVES her bouncer.

Devyn 7 months!!

I can not believe that Devyn is 7 months already!! It has gone by so fast! Yesterday she started scooting on her elbows, she lifts her butt up and then scoots on her elbows! She is almost crawling... then we are in BIG trouble! She is honestly the strongest little thing!


Here she is sitting up! She can't get to this position on her own but if you put her there she can sit for a pretty long time without falling over!

The next 2 pictures make me laugh so hard! My mom sent us a snowsuit for Devyn's first winter! It's a 6-9 month snowsuit but for some reason it is HUGE on her! But she sure does look cozy in it!

My First Thanksgiving!!

My mom can get Devyn in the best pictures!! Here she is smiling with my dad!! She has such a little personality now - this is honestly the BEST stage!!

We try to get Drew and Devyn to take a picture together but Drew isn't having it!! Here we are trying to trick him - I think he caught on - look at his face!

This is my favorite picture! If we put her on a blanket she rolls herself off so she can be on the hardwood floor. I think she likes the lines in the floor. But this is her typical position!
