HEAT WAVE!!!

Devyn had a pretty big weekend!! We went to a birthday party and to Nina's bridal shower! She ate pizza and birthday cake!! She loved them both...

It was 60 degrees on Saturday!!! Kara and I took Devyn for a little walk!! She was hysterical! She couldn't sit up far enough in her stroller... here are a few pictures!!

She was pulling herself up so she could see over the cupholders! When I started running she would laugh hysterically!

This is Devyn in the car on the way home from the birthday party! She fell right to sleep!

I had to post this picture. You can't really see it because it is from my phone. And my new phone is from 1950... but Devyn has seriously turned into a monkey. She is walking and climbing on everything. This morning I was in the shower and she crawled over to the toilet (thank god I have trained Brant to leave the toilet seat down) climbed on the toilet and started flushing the toilet.

I have no idea how I am ever going to punish her because everything she does just makes me laugh.

And we are cruising!

I honestly can not believe how fast time has gone! Devyn is moving around so much now - soon I am not going to be able to keep up!! Getting dressed is now the biggest pain in the butt! The girl only wants to stand up and walk!! This is what my morning was like this morning. I would get one thing on turn to grab the next thing and she was off!

I put her in her crib so I could get her bath started... Pretty sure she knew what was coming next! She was hysterically laughing in her crib!

This is how Brant and I spend our nights! Devyn LOVES to be pushed in this toy car. We start in the kitchen and sprint to the family room she laughs the entire time!

Brant found this awesome smock thing! It is for feeding! She is the messiest baby ever! The other day I wanted to see if she could feed herself and instead of putting the spoon in her mouth she picked up the entire bowl of food and put that to her mouth. Kind of like a cup - it went all over!! we will not be doing that again!

Play Date!!

Devyn and I had a play date with my good friend Lindsay and her daughter Sara! Sara is adorable and so strong! Look at her cheeks :-)

Devyn kept grabbing for Sara wanting to play! Devyn is older so I had to hold her back so Sara didn't get hurt!

We are in some serious trouble!! 8 Months

This girl is not happy unless she is standing!!! We found her standing in her crib on Saturday morning!! Then Saturday night we tried to put her down at her normal time and she kept pulling herself back up - this is what I walked into Saturday night. Look at that grin!!

Not only are we crawling and pulling ourself up to standing but we are dancing! She LOVES Beyonce's Single Ladies. It is so funny to watch her sway back and forth!



Here I am standing and walking! She can walk around the baby prison. She falls every once in a while but for the most part if she is holding on she can do it.

This was Saturday night when I was trying to put her down. Same smile!

Sitting up and about to crawl! She will sit up for about 3 mins and then straight to her stomach to start moving!

This is my sweater from when I was little!! Brant thought my mom got it for us as a gift and wanted to return it because it is missing a button!! I thought that was pretty funny!

Brant sends me a picture of Devyn every night that I have class! This is the one that I got last night. It instantly made me smile!!

Another Christmas!!

We celebrated Christmas with my parents 2 weekends ago _ I have been really bad at the pictures lately!! Sorry!! I have a ton that I need to put on here and I will I have just been super busy lately!! But Devyn is standing! She is pulling herself up from sitting to standing and taking a few steps!

Drew LOVES Devyn!! He pushes her around in her walker and she just laughs!!



Devyn got a toy car to ride! She is too short to touch the ground but when she does she is going to be moving around like crazy!!



She also got a toy car that we push her in! It is too cold out right now but we have been pushing her around the house and she loves it!

And we are crawling!! She crawls ALL over the place but not your typical crawl! She isn't on all fours but we still call it crawling! She will pull her arms forward and put her but in the air and she is off!!
